Frequently Asked Questions
Vous trouverez ici les réponses aux questions les plus courantes
concernant les séances d’ostéopathie et de Pilates à Flux mouvement.
Osteopathy
Your first appointment begins with a discussion about your reason for visiting, your health and your medical history. This is followed by an assessment tailored to your needs and hands-on treatment. When appropriate, the session may also include a reassessment, advice or simple movements.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows you to move freely during the assessment. A tank top and shorts are recommended to allow access to the skin when needed.
This varies depending on the reason for your visit, how your condition progresses, and your individual goals. After the first session, we can discuss whether follow-up appointments would be beneficial and how often they might be needed.
No. You can book an osteopathy appointment directly without a medical referral. However, depending on your situation, a medical consultation or follow-up may be recommended.
If you have any medical test results or imaging reports, it is helpful to share them so that your treatment can be provided safely.
Pilates
Individual sessions are suitable for people with different levels of experience and goals, whether you’re starting or returning to physical activity, building strength and mobility, improving movement control, or deepening an established practice. Exercises are progressively adapted to each person’s needs.
No prior experience is required. The first few sessions will help you become familiar with the Reformer, the principles of Pilates, and the different exercises.
The Reformer is a Pilates apparatus consisting of a moving carriage, springs, and various support surfaces. The springs allow resistance or assistance to be adjusted, offering a wide range of possibilities for developing strength, mobility, coordination, and movement control.
Yes, when appropriate. Exercises can be adapted to the different stages of pregnancy and to a gradual return to physical activity after childbirth. Depending on your situation, medical advice or guidance from a healthcare professional may be recommended.
